Inside the Masterclass

For New Jersey City University’s Student Leadership Retreat, Chinez curated a self-reflection masterclass designed to challenge participants in their perception of pop-culture figures and their role as social leaders in our society.

Participants were able to look at their social identifiers (race, gender, language, etc.) and craft how they define their own social leadership. What does it look like to lead a social movement or craft a career around your values? How do our perceptions impact the way we identify with leaders?
